Mike Tyson Gets Married at La Bella Wedding Chapel

Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson entered into his third marriage on Saturday night with girlfriend Lakiha Spicer.

The marriage came just two weeks after the death of the couple's 4-year-old daughter, who died in an accident at their home in Phoenix. Exodus was found hanging from a cord connected to a treadmill in the house.

Tyson and Spicer were married at La Bella Wedding Chapel at the Las Vegas Hilton on Saturday night.

Maybe Mike Tyson is trying to find happiness in mourning.
Adding another chapter to his fascinating, if sad, life story, the fallen heavyweight champ (and current Hangover cutup) married girlfriend Lakiha Spicer in Las Vegas over the weekend—less than two weeks after the tragic death of his 4-year-old daughter, E! News has learned.
The couple exchanged vows at La Bella Wedding Chapel at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel on Saturday night in an intimate, dressed-down affair with no guests present.
Chapel spokesman Shawn Absher says Tyson and Spicer appeared "very happy and very sincere" when a limo picked them up at around 9:15 p.m. The pair obtained a marriage license and then swapped vows 45 minutes later. The bride eschewed a traditional wedding gown in favor of "an appropriate dress," while Iron Mike wore a suit and tie, Absher says.
Tyson, 42, requested that all photos taken of the ceremony be kept private.
The boxing icon's daughter, Exodus Tyson, was taken off life support May 26, a day after accidentally hanging herself on a piece of exercise equipment at the Phoenix home of the child's mother, Sol Xochitl, whom Tyson dated before Spicer.
This is the third marriage for the tattooed brawler, who was infamously wed to Robin Givens for just a year (1988-89) and then to Monica Turner (from 1997 to 2003). He and Spicer have known each other for 10 years.

LAS VEGAS, June 9 (UPI) -- Retired boxer Mike Tyson, whose 4-year-old daughter died last month in a home accident, has married Lakiha Spicer in Las Vegas.

Exodus Tyson was taken off life support May 26, a day after she accidentally strangled herself on a piece of exercise equipment at the home of her mother, Mike Tyson's ex-girlfriend, Sol Xochitl.
E! News said Tyson made Spicer his third wife at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel's La Bella Wedding Chapel Saturday night in a low-key ceremony with no guests in attendance.
Chapel spokesman Shawn Absher told the TV news program Tyson and Spicer seemed "very happy and very sincere."
The bride wore "an appropriate dress" and Tyson donned a suit and tie, Absher said, adding the former heavyweight champion asked that photos snapped at his wedding be kept private.
Tyson has a cameo in the big-screen, Las Vegas-set comedy "The Hangover," which was No. 1 at the U.S. box office when it opened in last weekend.

Mike Tyson has married for the third time — two weeks after the accidental death of his 4-year-old daughter.
The former heavyweight champ tied the knot with Lakiha Spicer Saturday at Las Vegas' La Bella Wedding Chapel, owner Shawn Absher told Reuters. "No guests whatsoever, just the bride and groom," Absher said. "Very intimate, sincere. Mike seemed very happy."
Tyson was previously married to actress Robin Givens and Monica Turner, a doctor, with whom he has two children. Exodus Tyson, the boxer's 4-year-old daughter from another relationship, died May 26 after accidentally hanging herself on a piece of exercise equipment at home.
